Choc et al: Frome’s newest choccy hotspot!
For those of you who are familiar with Choc on Choc, will know that we are based in a lovely little village called Rode. For those of you who are not, we are located just outside of a town called Frome which is located a short while away from Bath!
Well, we’ve got another reason to come down and visit! Get ready to tickle your taste buds with Frome’s newest addition, Choc et al! That’s right, a new chocolate emporium has opened just across the road from us and trust us, it does not disappoint.
Only 21, Emily Powell is the brains behind the new shop sensation. Emily’s great love of all thing’s chocolate is the inspiration behind her first shop and incredible business! Additionally, this wonderful business is family-run, just like ours!
Emily works closely with both of her parents to run their independent business. Additionally, they pride themselves on working with local companies such as ours! Making sure they all produce their chocolate ethically and ensuring that there is a fair trade for all parties involved, highlighting their passion for locally ethically produced products and local chocolatiers.
We think that choc et al is a perfect fit for the vibrant streets of Frome! Lined with artisan shops, we’ll never know how we ever lived without Choc et al.
Not just another chocolate shop, Choc et al is an interactive experience, with opportunities to learn more about bean to bar processes. Additionally, it caters to everyone by offering vegan and gluten-free options. Furthermore, the team at Choc et al are also offering something a little different by way of chocolate in the form of shakes, ice-creams, and hot chocolates! (even available to take-away).
Emily is also going to be creating her own handcrafted chocolate through a viewing window in what she calls her ‘chocolate lab’! The team also has plans to start running their own interactive workshops in which you can learn how to make your own chocolate! Yum!
