Winter Events in the Area
With Christmas getting closer there are many wonderful Christmas markets to visit in and around the UK, check out the following events in the South West area, to enjoy with your loved ones.
Winter Wonderland – Bristol Cribbs Causeway
The wonderful winter wonderland is back again for another year. Bristol’s Cribbs Causeway displays a wonderful Christmas event, which starts from the 16th of November – 5th January. The magical event features Santa’s Enchanted Ice Castle, an ice rink and lots of festive food to enjoy!
Longleat Light Festival
This winter, Longleat is bringing back their light festival from the 9th of November – 5th January. Their grounds are lit with stunning structures, extraordinary creatures and lots more. Not only do they have their light show, but they also have a Santa train, winter safari and they decorate the wonderful Longleat house for Christmas.
Dartmoor Railway
Climb aboard the Dartmoor Christmas train to have some festive fun, introducing fabulous characters and interactive entertainment to enjoy with your friends and families. Okehampton station is festively decorated, on the platform, they have lots of delicious hot food and drink stalls available and Christmas music and performances to keep you entertained. They have lots of yummy hot chocolate and treats on the train, before arriving at Christmas town to meet Santa on board!
Winter Wonderland at Wookey Hole
The Wonderland at Wookey Hole starts from the 23rd of November – the 5th of January. They are going to be putting on the biggest underground cave light spectacular, which will be filled with Christmas characters! They will also have their 4D cinema, showing a Christmas film. They have a wonderful Grotto where you will be greeted by Elves who will take you to see Santa, he even gives you a Christmas present! They have over 20 attractions to enjoy with all your friends and family.
