Chocolate Truffles

Chocolate is a staple in any sane person's diet and it is definitely a delicacy that no one can refuse. Since the first-ever bar hit the shops chocolate has come on leaps and bounds. One particular type of chocolate we are very fond of here at Choc on Choc is the chocolate truffle! Chocolate truffles were invented in Chambery, France, their name was coined after the resemblance they share with mushroom truffles and the word ‘truffle’ actually comes from a Latin word meaning ‘Lump’.
Chocolate truffles can come in almost any flavour you can dream of! A popular truffle flavouring is alcohol (we won’t say no), with tipples such as brandy and whiskey. Other filling combinations may include ganache mixed with caramel, nuts, and fruit.
